Cape Cod Kids

My cousins and I left early Wednesday morning to get down the Scussett, squeezing in one last beach day! Family friends and my mom were down their waiting for us. By 10:30, we hit the sand running (a figure of speech, we were probably moving 1 mph due to the long-ish walk, heavy load & humid heat!) One we claimed a spot, we walked to the water and felt the numbing Atlantic. It was so hot though, we went in because we had to cool off! We sunbathed all day, took a walk on the rocks and enjoyed some country tunes - what's a day at the beach without those? Later, we went back to the camper, washed off and enjoyed a dinner. Kaitlyn and I took a walk on the canal together. I was out of energy when we piled in the Jeep and headed home right into the sunset.

New Hampshire - Live Well or Sigh

Hiking up to Newfound Lake is a tradition that I love taking part in! Year after year my cousins and I have squished into one house and spent the days on lake, nights by the fire and staying up late creating many memories. The view never gets old at the purest lake I know. We get great use out of my uncles boat as we participate in water skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding, and our favorite Mableing. Mable is shorthand for the Great Big Mable, a 4 person water couch per-say bound for a lot of laughs and hopefully just small injuries.

This week I pretty much brought my camera everywhere. After I had said "I wish I brought my camera.." a few times and Becca said, "Katie, I think its time to just bring your camera everywhere. You can't miss the opportunity for the perfect shot." What a wise girl that one is. I had a blast. Here's my picks from the 1,309 total.

Day 2 - We got a few scattered rainstorms, but luckily they cleared and the sun shined shortly after. If that seems odd, let me introduce you to this thing called New England weather!
